Australia Day at Seiryo High School
...which incidentally falls on Canada Day!
There are 28 students from my school who will be doing a home stay in Australia. A couple of months ago, the 2 teachers who will be accompanying asked if I could do some kind of presentation to prepare the students for their trip. For most of them, it'll be their first time going abroad. Seeing as how I've never been to Australia, I thought I'd try to find some Australians in this area who might be willing to come down for the day.
4 Aussies came for the day. We did some introduction games, there were presentations, a jeopardy game, singing, dancing, food tasting etc. The day was a great success! Everyone had a good time...I'm happy that it's over!!

Here are some pictures from the day:
After the program was over, Andrew, Amanda and I went back to my place to hang out. There's a penguin aquarium not far from my place, so we decided to go pay the cute penguins a visit.
Do all penguins sleep balancing on their heels?
We went out to joyfull later in the evening where we stayed for almost 4 hours..had a great time, I can't remember when I last laughed so much!
