Quick update
Because I'll be taking tomorrow and next Tuesday off, in order to make the most out of a 3 day long weekend, today was crazy at school!
I've decided that I'm going to buy a cell phone. Living in Japan for 2 years without one has proved that you can get by without one and still stay in touch with people..but for my last year here, I feel like cell phones are such an integral part of every day life for Japanese, it'd be a shame not to have used one while living here!
Iwata san came over shortly after I got home from work, and we went out to look at cell phones together. On our way home, we stopped at Joyfull and time just flew by..before I knew it it was almost 11pm.
I will be leaving tomorrow at 5:50am for Osaka where I'll be meeting Erica and Renee (from Ibaraki). I just finished doing most of my packing..We'll be spending 5 days doing some hiking/sight seeing..I'm really looking forward to it!
Anyways, I got home a couple of hours ago, and since I haven't updated my blog for a while, and will be away for the next little while...I thought I'd let you know what I've been up to.
I didn't write anything about what the rainy season was like. It was basically raining ALL THE TIME.. I think the rainy season was officially over last Sunday, and the unbearable heat began...words cannot describe what it's like. You have to experience it yourself to see what it's like...it's horrrible. It's like being in a sauna 24/7. I come out of the shower and cant get dry...... I hope it's a little cooler in Osaka...but i'm not holding my breath..!
What else.....oh yeah, I broke my finger. My thumb to be more precise..it's been a real pain, both as in 'ouch' and as in 'inconvenient '. The nurse said it'll take a couple of months to heal.
Sheila (from Kochi) called this evening about the Peace relay which will be taking place from Hiroshima to Nagasaki in August. Unfortunately, it falls on the same weekend when I'm suppose to attend an English camp at the university in Siebold..talk about bad timing.
I was suppose to attend a 2 week long English camp organized by the Nagasaki prefecture in August, but just found that I'm not required to go to it anymore. I was happy to hear that, because I can now make plans to do something more interesting! There's a Baha'i summer camp which will be held in August, I might be attending it, I'd also like to take a trip to Korea if possible...I'll look into it when I get back from Osaka.
If i'm to get up early tomorrow morning, I'd better get to bed. Wouldn't want to miss my plane! Nite nite everyone :)

Wow you are such a trooper. You get a broken finger and then keep on going. I love that you are doing what you want all on your own. That is so brave and amazing. I wish you great success in everything you do. I know that everyone you meet will be effected in a very positive way.
